All united by a bond of co-responsibility made possible by a democratic system whose added value is based on shared values: absolute equity between its members, equal rights and duties, and a constant desire to highlight the products and the work of each and every one involved. Cofruid’Oc is an economy with a human face, which cares above all about the men and women who work within it, to build a sustainable world together. The cooperative is part of a long-term vision.

Environmentally friendly production, a sense of community, a forward-looking approach, respect for our commitments and for people, a sense of responsibility, fairness, openness… are all part of Cofruid’Oc’s fundamental mindset. The values of our cooperative company are in line with the current expectations of society.

In order to give meaning and method, we rely on our responsible and social strategy, which is based on 6 essential axes for the sustainability of our farms and cooperative. This approach creates links between our growers, employees, partners and territory. It should contribute to a better recognition and understanding of our profession and its contribution to society.

It expresses our desire for a forward-looking Cofruid’Oc, which welcomes future generations, a Cofruid’Oc that is always seeking to improve! Growers and employees together will rise up to the challenges we face, by priding ourselves on our strong and meaningful ambition.

The inclusive mobilisation of all our members gives them the capacity to support shared projects that create value, by generating economic dynamism at an individual level. The emergence of Pink Lady apples or the relaunch of the Reine des Reinettes Gourmande variety are actions born of our determined and pioneering commitment to treat our consumers to real flavours.

With all our growers based locally, around the Camargue region, the cooperative guarantees efficient production and farms that cannot be relocated thanks to modern, quality tools at the service of everyone. A cooperative that is as close as possible to the reality of its environment and profession, so that consumers may find the grower behind the product.

All our members have access to the same services, the same support and the same method of remuneration in order to innovate and make progress at their own level.By sharing investments and risks, we perpetuate our activity, which is essential today as well as for the future, and protect our growers and our ecosystem thanks to such solidarity.

Our story

Severe frost destroyed the vineyards of the Saint-Just community in 1956. Pioneers then imagined an alternative to wine growing: apple trees. These young men decided to join forces to store, package and sell their production by creating a cooperative. To find out what happened next, let us tell you our story in a video.
